The President of Famagusta Association of Great Britain Dr Peter Karayiannis and the Mayor of Famagusta Mr Alexis Galanos will be putting forward “The case for the return of Famagusta” to the British All Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus, following an invitation by the Chairman of the Group, the Rt. Honourable David Burrows MP.

After the presentations by Dr Peter Karayiannis and Mr Alexis Galanos, and a short video film, there will be a questions and answers session. The meeting is being held at the British Houses of Parliament and is open to the general public. We would like to extend our invitation to you to attend this meeting and lend support to the campaign for the return of Famagusta to its rightful owners. This will be the first time that such a meeting centered on Famagusta will be taking place, where the displaced people of our Town will be able to put forward “The case for the return of Famagusta” to its legal owners.

If you would like to attend please allow at least 45 minutes to clear security. We would advise people to arrive at the Houses of Parliament soon after 5.00pm.

We hope you will be able to attend this very important event.

The Group Ammochostos Epistrefo(Famagusta I return) is delighted to announce the launch of its new website www.ammoxostosepistrefo.com

The Civilians’ Movement “ Ammoxostos Epistrefo” and its Facebook Group named “KAIROS NA PAROUME PISO THN AMMOXOSTO” were established on the 8^th April 2011 and has organised a number of protest events to highlight the determination and will of the Famagustians to return to their home town.
