“The case for the return of Famagusta” - back to the British Parliament

The British All Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus

will Review, Evaluate Findings & Make Recommendations for:

“The case for the return of Famagusta”

“The Missing people of Cyprus”

“The destruction of our religious and cultural

heritage in occupied Cyprus”

at The House of Commons - Committee Room 5

on Wednesday 29th February at 5:00pm.

in an open meeting with representatives and the public.

The Famagusta Association of Great Britain has been invited by the British All Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus to return to the Houses of Parliament to discuss the way forward on the issue of the return of Famagusta. During the same session representatives from the Missing Persons Association and the Religious and Cultural Heritage will also discuss the important issues of the missing people of Cyprus and the destruction of our religious and cultural heritage in the Turkish occupied areas of the Republic of Cyprus. The British All Party Parliamentary Group for Cyprus having heard on the three issues on separate occasions is meeting to Review, Evaluate its Findings & Make Recommendations

We would like to extend our invitation to you to attend this meeting and lend support to these campaigns for the return of Famagusta to its rightful owners, the Missing People of Cyprus and the campaign to end the destruction of our religious and cultural heritage in the occupied areas of Cyprus.

If you would like to attend please allow at least 45 minutes to clear security. We would advise people to arrive at the Houses of Parliament soon after 4.00pm. It is important that we have a good presence. We would like to urge you to attend, if possible, this very important event .

Nearest Underground Station: Westminster - on the District, Circle and Jubilee lines.

The House of Commons is situated directly opposite the underground station. You need to go through the main entrance of the House of Commons. You will then be directed to Committee room 5
